Who was Jesus?
Are you ready to say “Yes” to Jesus?Accepting the promises of Jesus requires more commitment than just sitting in a dusty church seat once each week – you need to take positive action and embrace Jesus as your friend, your lover, your Savior. I am talking about something that will not only save your life, but also change your life. If you allow God to work in your life you will find that He will thoroughly clean you on the inside – your thoughts and feelings. He will remove the ‘old’ you and replace it with a ‘new’ you. You will be a new creation in Christ, re-born as a whole new person. A commitment to Christ requires a step of faith, an acceptance of the sacrifice which He made for you. In dying on the Cross for us Jesus has washed our sins clean with His blood. The Bible says “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land…” [Isaiah 1:18-19 NIV]. The Bible also says that: “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” [Romans 10:9-10 NIV]. If you are ready to make that commitment, if you want to say “Yes” to Jesus then say the following prayer out loud:
Let me be the first person to welcome you to the Family of God. I urge you to join a Bible-based church and to grow spiritually by reading the Holy Bible (a good place to start is the Gospel of John in the New Testament).Now you have said this prayer, please send an e-mail to Reverend Mario Quitoriano so he can pray for you too and possibly offer some further assistance. |

Good Day webmaster
How many more comments and responses that will be diplayed in the site before you decide to put them to your archive? For the betterment of this site, I suggest you should limit the item per page as consider to be best pratices in website designing. ( kasi irritating po yung sobrang tagal or haba ng pag s-scroll down ) A page indicator would be nice.
( For ex. 5 comments and 5 responses on every page )

Hi Andrew,
In the Bible there are several kinds of baptism.
1. BAPTISM IN WATER. Baptism in “water” by John the Baptist and Christ disciples.
Acts 19:3 and he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John’s baptism”.
Acts 19:4, Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after Him that is on Christ Jesus.”
2. BAPTISM IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS.
Acts 19:4-5, v.4, Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after Him, that is on Christ Jesus, v.5 when they heard this, they were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
3. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
Acts 19:6, and when paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
Mark 1:8, I indeed baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
4. BAPTISM INTO DEATH & RESURRECTION
Romans 6:4, therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Col. 2:12, Buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God who raised Him from the dead.
5. BAPTISM IN THE BODY OF CHRIST
1Cor. 12:13, For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body – whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves of free and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
6. BAPTISM OF THE CUP OF SUFFERING
Mark 10:38-39, v.38, But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you ask. Can you drink the cup that I drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?.
v. 39, and they said to Him, “We can.” And Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink the cup that I drink, and with the baptism I am baptized you will be baptized.
7. BAPTISM INTO MOSES OF THE OLD TESTAMENT CHURCH IN THE WILDERNESS
1Cor. 10:1-4
1. Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea.
2. All were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3. All ate the same spiritual food;
4. And all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.
Salvation is a Person, the Person of Jesus Christ Himself, the Almighty, Lord, God, the Son, Incarnate, Perfect Man, and all in all.
• Ps. 27:1, The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?…
• Ps. 62:2, He only is my Rock and my Salvation, He is my defense I shall not be greatly moved.
• 2Tim. 2:10, Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect that they also may obtain the salvation which is IN CHRIST JESUS with eternal glory.
• 1Thess. 5:9, For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is purely by faith in Him and by His grace that we are saved, nothing else Eph 2:8-9. Man’s works or good works including the ceremonial baptism in water are consequences of being saved by Jesus Christ. We get baptized after we are saved. Not bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit after you are saved is a questionable state of a believer. Obedience to Him and His words are virtues of a true believer. Our total and consistent commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ opens a new dimension of existence for us. We become new creatures in Christ, 2Cor. 5:17 giving us the mind of Christ, 1Cor 2:16 and enjoy His rest, Matt 11:28, and experience a life that is more abundant, John 10:10 — and continually giving us salvation, eternal life and eternal glory.
The thief on the Cross did not have a chance to be baptized but Jesus said to him “today you will be with me in paradise”. The thief without any ceremonial activity like baptism in water believed by faith, that Jesus Christ alone is his Saviour and indeed he got saved. Surely if that thief on the cross had a chance to be baptized in water, he would, because faith always brings obedience.
